Are you a competence assessed Family Mediator? We are looking for sessional family mediators (Child only or AIM) who are able to do legal aid work. You will work in our Coventry office and work will be offered on a sessional or case by case basis to prevent delay for clients who wish to engage with the mediation process. If you are interested in training as a Family Mediator there are 2 possible options for training and gaining experience with CWFM -
1) Use the Contact Us link to send us your contact details so that we can send you an application pack when we next recruit.
2) Funding your own training with National Family Mediation (NFM) and applying for a placement with us to gain the practical experience needed to practice. Employment is NOT guaranteed at the end of the placement.
To be assessed as fully competent to work with legally aided clients can take from 18 months to 2 years from starting the Core Training. We expect all our mediators to be competence assessed before working with clients as a sole mediator.
