What issues can be dealt with?

In Divorce/Separation - there are 3 "types" of mediation case - (a) Child only issues (b) Finance & Property (c) All Issues (a & b) Discussion can take place and agreement be reached about -
CHILDREN
- Contact arrangements - how often and at what time contact takes place, where children are taken, who they see/meet, overnight contact
- Residence of children - where they live and with whom
- Parenting - what children are given to eat, what time they go to bed, discipline, health concerns
- Schooling - where they go to school and who is able to make contact with the school
- Communication - how you communicate as parents , how the absent parent communicates with the child(ren)
- Child Support - how much and for what, are the CSA involved?
- Ground rules & behaviour - when contact takes place or people meet how do they behave, what can and cannot be said or referred to
FINANCE & PROPERTY
- Finance - how equity, pensions, any other finances are dealt with and "shared"
- Maintenance - how much is paid and for what
- Property - what happens to your family home
- Sharing possessions - who has what and how any valuables are dealt with
- Pensions / Endowments
- Business Interests
- Settling of debts - who takes responsibility for any debts and how they are paid off or payments continue
