All our mediators participate in extensive core family mediation training and co-work with experienced mediators to gain the practical skills. Once assessed internally as "Ready to Practice" trainee mediators must manage (supervised by a trained mediator) and complete 5 cases and then submit a portfolio to National Family Mediation for competence assessment, before they can work as a sole mediator. All mediators are required to participate in CPD activities annually, participate in annual appraisal and receive regular supervison. |
