Workshops - September/October 2008

CWFM has developed 4 x 2 hour workshops - 3 are aimed at Family Lawyers/Legal Execs etc and attract SRA CPD points and 1 is for Advice Workers - CAB, independant advice agencies etc.

The workshops are suitable for any firm/organisation who already refers or is considering referring clients to our Service.

 Workshops for Family Lawyers - September 2008

1. Working together to meet the needs of clients - An updated repeat of the popular workshop we ran in Autumn 2005, the worksop givesd a brief overview of the Service and details the procedures we follow with regard to the Funding Code.

As well as finding out how we work, this is a good chance to feed into our development process and to provide constructive feedback.

2. Child Inclusive Mediation - This wokrkshop will provide information about involving chilsdren in the mediation process and looks at how we enable parents to move on and consider the needs of their children.

3. Making Financial Disclosure in Family Mediation - This workshop will provide information about how financial disclosure is managed in mediation and how the documentation that clients complete compares with Form E, and identify the advantages for clients of making financial disclosure in mediation.

The workshops are aimed at Introductory/Intermediate level.
